Casa Papaki Apartment - Merida

Really good stay, big and reasonably spacious rooms!

Good price, met expectations. Cute apartment, marvellous location by beautiful nature. Lovely and good staff, nothing to complain about. Rooms with the balcony. Breakfast with lots of pancakes and omelet etc for different tastes. Setting right by cafes, restaurants, and the lake.

I had the most amazing stay in a peaceful area surrounded by beautiful nature. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the volcano from the nearby beach bars. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was modern. The family who runs the place was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, especially the banana smoothie. The calm atmosphere made it a perfect getaway.

The remote location, which may not be ideal for those looking for a lively city with lots of restaurants.

This place was very clean and had a great location near Ometepe Island, the main port, and restaurants, and it was also very close to the beach.

we had a perfect 10/10 stay in merida just off the garden, the island and the lake with a banana smoothie. ordered some food, it was delicious, we appreciated pancakes and omelette for breakfast.

casa papaki, what a gem! exceeded my expectations after staying in merida. the room was stunning, with a private terrace and hammock overlooking lush greenery. the area was tranquil, with beautiful nearby beaches and friendly locals. dona teresa's breakfast was the best i've had in central america. a perfect romantic getaway.

No kitchen access for short stays.

the owner, Teresa, was so kind and welcoming. Despite the language barrier, she always went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. the room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and beautifully furnished. It was spotlessly clean and I loved the comfortable bed and the nice breeze from the windows. I also enjoyed spending time on the private balcony, with its lovely views. the location was perfect for exploring the island and I particularly enjoyed the nearby beaches and local cafes. Casa Papaki provided the perfect combination of comfort and charm. Cons: Everything is perfect and exactly what I needed. 🌟.

I had the most amazing stay at this hidden gem in a secluded area. The rooms were spacious and the garden was beautiful. I loved being able to prepare my own meals in the fully equipped kitchen and the living room was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were so cute and their pets were adorable. Even though it was tucked away, it was still conveniently close to all the best spots on the island. I highly recommend this homestay gem.

We got excellent value for our money with a top standard bedroom that was clean as new. The location was perfect, just a short scooter ride away from all the places we wanted to visit. The staff, Daniel, Teresa, and his girlfriend, treated us like long-standing friends.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety or options.

I had an amazing time at Casa Papaki. Stayed for 10 days, enjoying the beautiful room with its own viewing deck for stargazing. The location is perfect, close to Playa Mangos for stunning sunsets and Rio Istian for kayaking. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. They even arranged a scooter for us. Can't wait to come back!

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

This place was quite clean and conveniently located near the island and Ometepe.
